In order to use Resolver One with Thomson's data feeds, you will need a subscription to Thomson; this tends to be extremely expensive, and is infrequently used outside financial firms. If you do not know whether you have it installed, you probably don't...

Use

Users of Thomson in Excel will be familiar with the Resolver One functionality. Once the Thomson Dataworks Client package is installed, you gain access to the THM function, which retrieves data from Thomson and displays it in the Resolver One grid. The THM function retrieves realtime data, which "ticks" - that is, as updates come in from Thomson, the spreadsheet is recalculated to show the changes.
