A familiar interface

Resolver One blends a familiar spreadsheet-like interface with the powerful Python programming language to give you a tool to analyse and present your data.

Spreadsheets are used heavily to collect, manipulate and analyse business data. The classic spreadsheet model, in which you can easily fill a table with numbers and formulae and perform basic analysis on the results, has been used for years and has clearly proven its value.

However, many people have discovered that their more advanced spreadsheets gradually become impossible to understand and maintain. Resolver One is a new kind of spreadsheet to help the advanced spreadsheet user. It retains the familiar table-based interface, but has been comprehensively designed to give you the power and flexibility that the traditional spreadsheet lacks.

Every time a you change a Resolver One spreadsheet, the software generates Python code expressing the your formulae as a computer program; this code is immediately executed, and the results are displayed back to you in the spreadsheet interface. You can then edit the code, writing your own functions and algorithms, and see the results in the grid too.

This seamless integration of code and spreadsheet allows you to extend Resolver One's functionality and connect to external systems, while less-technical users can re-use the spreadsheets you write without changing their workflow.
